YWAM AfriCom is a ministry of Youth With A Mission, based in Muizenberg, Cape Town. It is a communication team and part of a global network of communicators.

In Africa YWAMers are often living in isolated circumstances and feel a strong dis-connect to the wider body of YWAM. Burnout, exhaustion and a feeling of being ‘out of touch’ are real problems that so many face.

It is in this context that YWAM AfriCom exists to serve missionaries in Africa. AfriCom is an organisation dedicated to finding solutions to YWAMers across the continent to help them build a connectedness to others around them and further afield. With a base in Cape Town, South Africa, our team also travel the continent, identifying communication needs and supporting local teams with what they need to get connected to one another and to other organisations and charities. AfriCom has its own website: www.ywamafricom.org

The task is still to reach the continent of Africa with the Gospel message. Over ¼ of the World’s Least Reached People Groups are in Sub-Sahara Africa today and AfriCom is supporting those called to this continent to work in a way that gets that job done together.
