ESL Games: Bullseye

From YWAMKnowledgeBase

When teaching young kids English (or any other language) a game can be essential not only for them to learn, but for you to motivate them to participate. Here's a idea for you if you're looking for a game.

Bullseye:

Go to the blackboard and draw a circle and then draw a larger circle around that one and finally another larger one around that. You should have 3 circles that increase in size. Also known as a bullseye.

Each circle is given a point total with the smallest circle being worth the most. Maybe 5, 3, and 1. If a student answers a question correctly they are rewarded with a chance at throwing a ball at the target. Whatever circle they hit that's the point total they've earned for their team. The team at the end of class with the most points wins.
