Help:Using the wiki
From YWAMKnowledgeBase
The KnowledgeBase wiki not is designed to bea book to be read in a linear fashion such as a text book but as you would a dictionary or an encyclopaedia: using the index you locate the article you are looking for, and from there browse on for more information. At the moment this wiki is very much like a honeycomb. It will start out with lots of gaps but as time goes on each gap will be filled. Most importantly, start to draw on the Knowledge base by reading the existing pages:
- Use the search box to the left as a quick way to see if there is something that you want to know about in particular; if you don't find anything then why not start a page by making a link and even fleshing out the text a little and let others help fill it in and provide the polish.
- A list of all the categories in the Knowledge Base is available here and from the special pages link in the toolbox to the left.
- A list of all pages can be found within the Special Pages section.
- The random page link to the left is a fun way to start to browse the wiki.
- The most recent changes to the Knowledge base are found in the navigation box to the left. It also shows who made the changes.
- At the Community portal page you can read all about the project, what its current status is, goals and general community life.
