I did my DTS at Heidebeek, Heerde, The Netherlands in 1996. I met my wife, Jolanda, in the DTS and we were married a year later. We have been staff at Heidebeek since 1997.

In 2000 we moved to Bosnia-Hercegovina for three years. In 2003, we moved back to The Netherlands and have been staff here at Heidebeek ever since. In 2006, I started working part-time in the YWAM Europe office with Jeff Fountain with the YWAM Europe websites as a part of EUROCOM (European Communications Team). I still work the rest of the week at Heidebeek. My ministry is enabling and empowering people to use communication and technology for ministry.

I co-host a podcast with Chris Bishoff, of YWAM Latvia called The YWAM IT Podcast. The podcast can be found at the website of YWAM Information Technology, or can be subscribed to directly in iTunes. You can also plug the feed url* directly into your podcatching program of choice.

I have started several podcasts, two of which are actually published: 1001 Podcast Tips and The Donkey's Mouth News Network. Both of these are mostly testing grounds for learning podcasting and also an attempt to start with something low-key in the hopes of getting noticed by people. I hope to be producing more (semi-)serious podcasts later in the year.

I am also involved in worship leading and teaching in worship in DTSes, seminars, churches, SOWs, etc. If you would like to have me in your school, please let me know. I am also available to teach via GENESIS.

My wife and I have two lovely daughters: Lisa, 3, Sarah, 5 months.
